September 5, 2005

In the last week we have shared this site with many family and friends, we have currently sent this out to a larger group of people in order to open up the awareness of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is very important that we start spreading the word about this condition and making it known to people that arthritis can affect any gender, any age.

If you are new to this site we encourage you to read Sadie’s story, read the journal to give you an idea of what it is like to live in her shoes and what she must endure with this condition.
We are starting to assemble a team of walkers for the Jingle Bell Walk/Run that will be held in Seattle on December 11, 2005. If you are interested in walking with us, please email me and I will get information to you on our team. If you are interested in being notified of upcoming fundraisers, please let us know this also so that we can include you in future emails.

Again, awareness is key… you are here now… don’t turn a blind eye to this, read about it, educate yourself and then step in to make a difference.
