December 31, 2010

Saying goodbye to 2010. It was a rocky start with surgery in February, but a fairly peaceful ending.

There isn’t a lot to report from the medical world. Sadie is holding pretty steady and Remicade seems to be the best fit for her. She has a small allergic reaction in November to the medication which left us very cautious in December, but there was no reaction which was absolutely an answer to prayer. The start of 2011 leaves us with a FULL calendar with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) specialist (this was an issue in the past, but now this has become a recent issue on her right ankle, even the lightest touch causes searing pain for her), surgeon, physical therapy, regular infusion and bone density testing.

A few weeks ago we participated in a very wet Jingle Bell. We appreciate the many family and friends that came out to support Sadie and the Arthritis Foundation. Our team raised $3,505.00 and we had over 40 people (most of who braved one of the wettest days Seattle has seen). It was a great event and we are so thankful for the support!!

We wish all of you a happy and HEALTHY new year!

God Bless,
The Jordan Family
